Google will now show users whether the results of search queries are personalized or not, the search engine giant announced via its blog. In February 2021, the Mountain View, California-based search engine added an “About this result” section to provide users with more context of the results of search queries. Initially, this only included details about the source website. Over time, it expanded this to include additional information about what it took into account to deliver these results. The event announced numerous Search updates revolving around these key areas: Visualization Personalization Sustainability After the event, Google’s Ad Liason, Ginny Marvin, hosted a roundtable of PPC experts specifically in the B2B industry to give their thoughts on the announcements, as well as how they may affect B2B.
